The preliminary competition ran from September 1-12, leading to the Grand Final at the FEB UI Campus on September 20, where the top ten teams presented their strategies to judges. The event concluded on September 21 with a Networking Night at PENN Jakarta, which featured the final winner announcement.
The competition commenced with a preliminary round, which spanned from September 1st to September 12th. During this initial stage, participants were immersed in a dynamic trading simulation, where they fiercely competed to maximize their portfolio value through strategic decision-making in a live market environment. From this intense phase, the top 10 teams with the most impressive portfolio performances emerged as the grand finalists, securing their spot in the final showdown. The culmination of the event was the Grand Final, held on September 20th at the prestigious FEB UI Campus.
During this high-stakes final round, the finalists were tasked not just with their trading results, but with articulating the sophisticated strategies behind their success. Each team delivered a comprehensive presented, their trading strategies, risk management approaches, and stock selection reasoning. Their performance was evaluated by a distinguished panel of judges, including industry experts Mr. Inav Chandra and Mrs. Ike Widiawati, who critically assessed the depth, coherence, and practical viability of each team's strategy to determine the ultimate champion.
Following the competition, on September 21st, The 25th ICMSS hosted a Networking Night at PENN Jakarta. This event provided a platform for the Grand Finalists to connect, share insights, and discuss the strategies they employed. The evening also served as the official announcement of the Trading Competition winners.
