H. Samsudin Andi Arsyad, widely known as Haji Isam, officially became a strategic shareholder in PT Abadi Nusantara Hijau Investama Tbk (PACK) after acquiring 6.83 billion shares valued at Rp936.65 billion.  Read more: GOTO Announces Rp3.5 Trillion Buyback to Boost Shareholder Value The transaction increased his ownership stake to 21.12% and represented a major ownership shift in the company. The shares were acquired from PT Eco Energi Persada, which reduced its controlling stake following the transaction. Investor attention toward PACK increased after the announcement, with the stock rallying to the auto rejection upper limit during trading. 

The market response reflected growing optimism surrounding the company’s future direction and the involvement of a high-profile investor with strong exposure to Indonesia’s natural resources and energy sectors.

The company plans to acquire stakes in PT Karayatama Konawe Utara and PT Konutara Sejati as part of its broader expansion into the nickel industry. The move marks a significant transition from PACK’s previous identity as a packaging company and highlights management’s long-term focus on the growing nickel and energy transition sectors. 

Investor optimism toward the company also strengthened following the expansion plans, particularly as nickel remains closely linked to long-term demand from the electric vehicle and energy transition industries.
